Description
The MAGNUM Ideal range of self-regulating heating cables has been specially developed to ensure that water pipes, taps, drains etc. not to freeze. Freezing problems can be easily avoided by installing a non-freezing cable along the pipe, with easy connection and an automatic thermostat. With pipe insulation, this heating method not only ensures safety but also prevents additional and unnecessary costs due to water damage. The MAGNUM Ideal anti-freeze cable is fully ready to use (with 2 metres of connecting cable and a grounded plug) and with temperature control via bimetal. The MAGNUM Ideal cable is available in lengths from 1 to 48 metres. The cable starts heating at temperatures below +5°C and switches off automatically if the pipe temperature exceeds +13°C.
ATTENTION:
The heating cable must not be placed directly on the PVC pipe, the PVC pipe must first be covered with aluminium tape to ensure proper thermal conductivity.
